WHY IS THE GANGES SO POLLUTED?
- Toxic waste from factories
- Garbage and raw sewage
- Acids, dyes and heavy metals
- People's rubbish because there is no proper way to get rid of it

- Chromium, a bacteria, is toxic and poisonous so affects the health
- People get diseases and become sick by drinking from the Ganges
- People lose their jobs.

- The Ganges Dolphin is close to becoming extinct
- Since population increase, more waste affects wildlifes' health
- The fishers are causing a huge fall in the number of dolphins with the nets
- Fish attempt to kill the bacteria but do not succeed, pollution is too strong
