ADDING INTEGERS

• When you add integers with different signs you treat it like a
• subtraction sentence. And then you keep the of the bigger number
• like a subtraction sentence.
• But when you add with integers with the same sign you just add the two
• and keep the sign.

EXAMPLES

• -28+-9=-37
• 35+-23=12

SUBTRACTING INTEGERS

• When you subtract integers you change it to an addtion
• problem, and then you as well change the second sign.

EXAMPLES

• 30--17=47
• -6 1/2 -6/12= 0
