- Died 1952 in Netherdlands
- Occupation: educator, scientist
- Graduated from medical school of the university of Rome in 1896
- Founder of Montesorri Education Method
* Maria founded a theory that influences the lives of thousands of children throughout the world
* The Montessori Method is used to approach to education in the preschool field
*Also used in Junior, middle , and Senior levels
* the method has now been used widely
*children are free to follow their own interests rather than being forces to learn something inappropriate for their stage

*it was always an education goal to make the child independent and let them do thing by themselves
*observing is a way to finding a way to know what the childs needs are
*follow the child they will show you what they need to do, what they need to develope in themselves and what area they need to be challenged in
*children makes mistakes and we need to teach them in a nice manner
* their play is their work and they are still enjoying it
* the language of the adult is one that the child will pick up easily
