Means to put all your efforts or resources into one person one thing or one plan and if things don't work out you loose everything

Means incite,push,encourage,urge,prompt,spur,provoke
A good egg
A person who is of great standards has done something well or pleased someone
Having egg on tour face
If you said or done something wrong and it's made you feel embarrassed
Don't count your eggs before they've hatched
To warn someone not to plan anything that depends on a good thing you expect to happen in the future
