PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Newtons 1st law: An object at rest remains at rest and an object in motion remains in motion unless acted an outside force.
EXAMPLES
- When bones are at rest they stay at rest.
- A car with no brakes running into wall.
- Kicking a ball that wasn't moving.
Newtons 2nd law:
The force acting on an object equals the objects mass times the acceleration. F=ma
EXAMPLES
- When you jump off the floor.
- When you are climbing up a rope.
- When two people of the same stength wrestle.
Newtons 3rd law:
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
EXAMPLES
- When a ball bounces off a wall.
- When a small object runs into a big object.
- When a light object bounces off a table.
