  • NSSL researchers have created a computer model to see storms in 3D.
  • Thunderstorms affect small areas when compared with 
  • hurricanes and winter storms.

  • A typical tornado last only for a few minutes.
  • A tornado forms by hot wind and cold wind come
  • together.
  • Every tornado has its own color,sound and shape.

  • snowstorms can form hail,sleet and ice.
  • Snowstorms can last for days and hours.
  • Blizzards can go over 35 mph.
  • Sleet are rain drops that freeze before they hit the ground.
