Narrative Practice
- NARRATIVE = An account (story) of events or experiences.
- Narratives are often told in the 1st person ("I") or 3rd person ("he/she").

The Task
- Think back to the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet. Imagine you are either Romeo or Juliet.

- Write a balcony scene narrative (story) from Romeo or Juliet's point of view.
- (You CAN choose another scene like the fight scene or the death scene instead)
- Focus on describing your character's PERSONAL THOUGHTS/REACTIONS. Also, describe what he/she SEES in detail (along with the other 5 senses.)

- I was still in a blur from the party and that first kiss. Romeo MONTAGUE? My family's enemy? I stepped out onto the balcony for some night air, hoping it would clear my mind. The air was cool and the moon shone over the trees to make them gleam. It was calm, but it didn't help me feel any better...
