LJMU English Module Choices

Level 6 2015-16

Single Honours English

  • You need 120 credits in total (all modules are 24 credits)
  • Pick 5 modules
  • You are strongly advised to balance those modules across the year (i.e. 3 in Semester 1, 2 in Semester 2, or vice versa)

Joint Honours with English

  • 120 credits in total across both your subjects (all modules = 24 credits)
  • So: 3 English modules and 2 in your other subject, or vice versa. English & MCS students take TWO English modules at Level 6.

  • You may not take a Dissertation Module in both your subjects.
  • A limited number of English modules are offered to Joint Honours Students.
  • If you did not take a Work-Related Learning Module last year, you MUST take it in your other subject this year.
