A person who opposed the adoption of the United States Constitution.
Thomas Jefferson :
Jefferson led the anti -federalist.
Anti - Federalist
Favored living most of the power in the hands of the states.
Anti-Federalist supported the decentralized banking system.
Decentralized Banking System:
The state would stablished & regulate all banks within their body
Jefferson & Antifederalist said that the Constitution does not explicitly give Congress power to create national bank.
Therefore, they argued the creation of a national bank was unconstitutional.
