Connection: I once had to be as brave as Parvana when she had forced out the Taliban,I had to play my very first baseball tournament and all of the adults were there and my dad had been telling me that I would "bring the house down". At the time, I didn't believe him.

Connection: When Nooria hugged her sister she showed care, my sister showed care when the power went out and our parents were out and the phones weren't working my sister hugged me and told me it would be okay.

Connection: being determined just as shauzia I once let my dog outside and I had him out there for about 2 mins and when I came back outside to let him in I couldn't find him any where I looked in the field I looked by the barn, still didn't find him but I was determined to keep looking, so I went back inside to grab a sweater and he was just sitting inside. Turns out he got inside through the back.

Connection: mrs.weera came to take charge and care for Parvana family, my mom and dad were helping my aunty move because some one else was moving into her house so we let her stay in our house. We were warm hearted.
