1. vivacious – adj. lively, bright, animated

2. tremulous – adj. characterized by trembling, as from fear or nervousness

3. proliferate – v. to increase in number or spread rapidly, often excessively

4. cliché – n. a sentence or phrase, expressing a popular idea, that has lost originality

5. succor – n. help; relief; assistance; aid

6. meander – v. to wander aimlessly, without direction or purpose

7. iridescent – adj. brilliant, lustrous, rainbow-like colors

8. oxymoron – n. a figure of speech that has a contradictory effect (i.e. cruel kindness)

9. missive – n. a written message, letter

10. oration- n. speech

11. precarious – adj. dependent on circumstances beyond one’s control

12. infallible – adj. absolutely trustworthy or sure

13. uncanny – adj. having an inexplicable or supernatural basis

14. alacrity – n. cheerful willingness; eagerness

15. genial – adj. having a friendly disposition or manner; comforting
