Early life
Marilyn monore grew up as Norma Jean morteson and lived in L.A. With her mom. Her mom Gladys was very unstable making Marilyn have to move from several orphanages nondescript foster homes. When she ended up finding a stable home with family friends they moved and she was not able to go with them. She had had a boyfriend at the time named James Doughtry and as a way out she got married to him at a very early age.
The start
Her marriage compelled her to drop out of high school which left her inadequate. Her husband served as a merchant during World War 2 so she got a job gs a radio plane company assembling parachutes. She worked there for a year (1944-1945). Photographers showed up one day to get pictures of ways the community were helping towards the war effort when one spotted Marilyn and took interest in her. This is when her career started up.
Becoming a star
Marilyn started out as a pin model and progressed to signing a contract with 20th century fox at the age of 20. Most movies she did portrayed her as a uneducated dumb blonde and though she liked acting she was smart and wanted different roles. She took nighttime
