CELIAC DISEASE

WAYS TO DISEASES

  • Celiac disease is caused by an immune reaction to eating gluten.
  • Gluten is find in wheat, barley and rye.
  • No one noes for suer why but if a family member has it you have a 5% to 10% chanceof getting it.

WAYS TO PREVENT CELIAC DISEASE

  • To only eat gluten free foods
  • There is not cure for celiac disease.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS

  • Summon symptoms are diarrhea, decreased appetite, stomach ache, bloating, poor growth and weight loss.
  • Most people are diagnosed when they are between 6 months in two years old.
  • Some people are diagnosed as an adult.

SOME ONE WITH CELIAC DISEASE

  • My feel tired, be irritable, have skin rashes and mouth sores.

HOW IS IT TREATED ARE CURED

  • It is treated by not eating gluten.
  • Following gluten free diet allows the small intestines to heal but it is not a cure.

WHICH ORGAN OF THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM IS A AFFECTED

  • The small intestines are affected by celiac disease.
  • The over time reaction produces inflammation that damages the small intestines lining and prevents absorption of some nurients.
  • It can cause your brain, nervous system, bones, and other organs not receive important nourishment.
