TYRANNY
*Tyranny is a cruel and harsh form of government that is ruled by a tyrant, which is an absolute ruler.

*Tyranny was created in Greece when a man named Peisistratos came to power in 546 B.C. and his power was continued by his two sons.

* His sons were Hippias and Hipparchos.

DEMOCRACY
*Democracy is a form of government that gives power to the people and is given to them by being able to elect their leaders.

  • Democracy was created in 507 B.C.
  • The creator was Cleisthenes from Athens.
  • In Greek, democracy means rule by people.
  • Their democracy was not like what it is now
  • because they did not have a census and

PROS AND CONS
PROS✔️: democracy gives everybody equal rights, people are happy, and army is for volunteers.
CON❌: democracy has less punishment which means more crime.
PRO✔️: tyranny has a strong army and less crimes because more punishment.
CONS❌: tyranny means no ones happy and human rights are violated.
