Accessing Your Classroom

  • District Website
  • Click on School
  • Click Online Classrooms
  • Click on your name

Logging In

  • Click on Sign In (upper right hand corner of page)
  • Username will be your first(.)last name.
  • Password will be your laptop login.

Site Manager

  • Click on Site Manager (upper right hand corner of page)
  • Used to add and edit pages on your online classroom.

Creating Pages

  • Go in Site Manager
  • Click on New Page (green button on the top, left of screen)
  • Select page type

Basic Page Types

  • Flex Editor
  • File Library
  • Article Library
  • Link Library

Flex Editor

  • Basic page
  • Like a blank Word document
  • Can do everything

File Library

  • Useful for putting up several documents or files.
  • The link is embedded and will open the file using other programs.

Article Library

  • Also useful for putting up several documents.
  • The links do not redirect to an outside program because the files and documents must be copied and pasted into each article.

Link Library

  • Useful for displaying websites.
  • Displays the URL and a brief description of the website.

Organizing Pages

  • Click on Organize Pages (next to New Page button on the top, left of screen)
  • Drag pages up or down as needed to place pages in order

  • You can choose which pages are visible by clicking the green Active button next to each page.

  • Welcome display
  • All about the teacher
  • Agendas
  • Frequently used websites
  • Assignments
  • Spelling Lists

Editing Pages

  • Select New Page
  • Select the page type
  • Can insert pictures and text depending on the page selection

Publisher

  • Can use to create a display for any page.
  • Easy to add pictures and text.
  • Save as a JPEG by clicking Save As and changing the file type.
  • Insert in page by selecting the picture in the top left corner of the edit view.
