  • Men had a right to cheat
  • After divorce men were free to marry again
  • Men had a right to get married under the age 14
  • Right to marry at any age
  • Men had a right to divorce women if they weren't able to reproduce

  • Men had the right to beat women
  • Men could act on there own in the legal arena
  • Men had a right to name their women
  • Men were allowed to own property
  • Husband had use of the joined property meaning he could dispose of it without wife permission

WOMEMS RIGHTS

  • Right to marry at any age
  • Mother had a right to name her child
  • Women can also freely disinherit children from private property
  • She could certainly bequeath the property to certain children and not others
  • Women had equal rights to men

WOMENS RIGHTS

  • In the legal arena women could act on there own
  • Women had the right to work but they had to work through a mail
  • Women were allowed to own houses
  • Of a husband disposed a joined property brought to the marriage he has to pay her back and make it equal
  • After divorce women were free to marry again
