Hawaiian bobtail squid and bioluminescent bacteria
The symbiotic relationship between the Hawaiian Bobtail squid and bioluminescent bacteria are commensalism only one benefits from it. The scientific name for the squid is Euprymna Scolopes the name for the bacteria is photorhabdus. The squid lives off the island in Hawaii the bacteria live in the oceans. The squids eat shrimp the bacteria eats bad things inside the squid. The squid gets help to hide itself from predators with the glow around him and the bacteria get fed.
The symbiotic relationship with aphids and ants is mutualism they both benefit from it. The scientific name for ants is Formicidae. The scientific name for aphids is Apidoidea. Ants live in large colonies and aphids in in Midwest in North America. Aphids produce there own foods and ants eat the honeydew of the aphids. The aphids provide honeydew for the ants and the ants protect the aphid.
MONARCH BUTTERFLY AND MILKWEED
Monarch butterflies and milkweed have a commensalism relationship one benefits but the other doesn't . Milkweed Is found in northern U.S you can find butterflies as far north as Canada and as far south as Mexico. Milkweed produces it's own food but the butterfly eats stuff off the plant. The milkweed protects the monarchs and get fed
