Modern day entertainment is very similar to most of Roman entertainment with event, such as plays, racing horses, and dueling. Rome had stadiums for these events capable of seating 50,000+ people.
Roman Life & Social Structure
Romans shared some traditions, even thought they had different lifestyles they had things in common such as the man being head of the household. The rich lived a great and extravagant life, while the poor lived a not so rewarding and limited life.
Roman Engineering/ Achievements
Roman achievements influenced western civilization by building and creating things we still use in modern day society, such as shopping malls, apartment buildings, land fills, and jobs like street cleaners, traffic wardens, firemen, and funeral directors

Greek mythology was a big part in roman mythology. Most if not all of the gods worshiped where the same person with different names.
The laws that ancient Romans had to abide by are the same that modern day society has to follow such as being called into court, inheritance, and ownership & possesion.
