We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, promotand secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

The First Amendment
Freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition.

The Second Amendment
Right to keep and bear arms in order to maintain a well regulated militia.

The Third Amendment

No quartering of soldiers.

The Fourth Amendment
Freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures.

The Fifth Amendment
Right to due process of law, freedom from self-incrimination, double jeopardy.

The Sixth Amendment
Rights of accused persons, e.g., right to a speedy and public trial.

The Seventh Amendment

Right of trial by jury in civil cases.
