DIET

• Roots ,berries , meat
• Fish, insects, larvae
• Grass and other plants
• Deer, elk, moose

LIFESPAN

• 20 years

REPRODUCTION

• Breeding is through May- August
• Babies are born between January and February
• Usually have 2-4 cubs

BEHAVIOR

• Forage up to 20 hours a day
• Exceptional hearing and eyesight
• Bears move around to where food is

INTERESTING FACTS

• Bears can run up to 60 km/h
• They are really intelligent and have better navigation skills better than humans
