Geo-Engineering is based on cooling down the Earth in a variety of different ways.

The con was that deserts would start to grow trees, meaning wildlife would lose their habitat or die from the change in climate, and precipitation rates will increase in the desert.

The solution would be to watch the amount of precipitation as well as the wildlife in that area.
