3 BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT

The legislative branch features the Senate (100 members) and the House Of Representatives (435 members).

They create bills which go through a process to determine whether they will become a law or not.

The Judicial Branch is made up of the Supreme Court, Lower Courts, Special Courts, and other special organizations.

They determine what the law means.

The Executive Branch features the President, the Vice President of the United States, the secretaries, and the departments

The President is responsible for making sure laws are enforced.

The Vice President is ready to step up and take over The President's job if he cannot do his job.

Representatives must be over 25 years old, a 7 year old citizen in America, and also a resident of the district they represent.

Senators must be over 30 years old, a 9 year old US citizen, and resident of the state.

For the judicial branch, they are no special requirements.
