Berry then traveled to Chicago to pursue a career in modeling. Later on in her life she decided she wanted to pursue a career in acting. She starred in small roles such as "Boomerang" and "Jungle Fever." Her name got around and she starred in bigger roles as the lead, all leading up to winning an Oscar.

Summary Of Acceptance Speech
Halle Berry, American Actress and former fashion model, was was very outgoing, pretty, and of course a great actress. Even though she has own several beauty pageants and stared in many movies, she never though she would be the one to win an Oscar. So, when she did, she was thrilled and wanted to make sure that she specifically thank everyone who helped her along her journey.
