Blizzards are a type of snow storm that is very dangerous, with many deaths coming out of them every time they happen blizzards form when the air is cold with lots of moisture and warm air must rise above the cold air, this will create a snowstorm that when at high speeds is classified as a blizzard. Blizzards can also happen when a cold front meets a warm front.
Blizzards can occur during winter when it is cold. They form near the upper west of the Great Plains, but also in most of the country except for the gulf coast or California coast.
Blizzards are not very big threats to our state, because in the past, "blizzards" were only small snowstorms. This shows that blizzards aren't very dangerous to us.
