MARRIAGE IN GOD'S PLAN

• God created men and women in his image and made them equal
• God not only wanted the human race to reproduce, but to also have a loving relationship locked in by marriage
• Man did not come up with marriage, it was created by God
• The husband, wife, and children are portrayed as the father, son, and the holy spirit

MEN AND WOMEN CREATED EQUAL

• God made men and women both in his image
• God sees men and women as equals, but sadly in todays world it semms like it is not how it is viewed
• Women are still treated as if they are not equal, with many not earning as much money as men
• Also women have many more obstacles to face to earn high positions than men do
• In God's eyes, he wanted men and women to be equal in marriage just like everything else

LOVING RELASIONSHIP LOCKED BY MARRIAGE

• God believed that marriage was eternal
• God believed that no marriage bond could be broken
• By having an eternal marriage, the family stays together where the children could be nurtured

THE IDEA OF MARRIAGE

• Marriage was not created by man, it was created by God for man
• Marriage is based on loyalty
• God created marriage to give man a purpose, not just to reproduce

THE FAMILY

• After marriage, the husband and wife are meant to have a child and nurture that child
• The husband, the wife, and the child represents the father, the son, and the holy spirit
• Because of their union to each other to create children, the are co-creators with God
