The National Firearms Act of 1934: The National Firearms Act of 1934 (“NFA”) imposes a tax on the making and transfer of machine guns and certain other weapons, as well as a special occupational tax on persons and entities engaged in the business of importing, manufacturing and dealing in those weapons.

I agree with this law because the government wants to control the amount of guns that are being held by people, and doesn't want to many people to own these guns. Like the tobacco , government adds a lot of tax money to the cigarettes because they don't want people to smoke.

I do not agree with this law. The government is trying to quietly gain control without citezins knowing. They are trying to one up the people. Why should the government only have certain weapons. What if at some point the people have to rebal against the government. What if that's what they are planning for by slowly trying to get rid of the citizens weapons.
