Only, 13, Mo'Ne Davis has amazed many, with her incredible talent of throwing a baseball at 70 mph.
One of Mo'Ne Davis' unique qualities may come to a surprise, her gender. Since on average many female adolescences mature faster than males; Mo'Ne physically has many advantages, such as her height reaching 5 feet & 4 inches and weighing 105 pounds, gives her a nice, tall,and lean shape that then allows her to generate more velocity on her pitches.
August 15, 2014 Mo'Ne Davis was declared to be the first girl to throw a shutout in Little League World Series history.
Mo'Ne Davis has a outstanding personality. As her personality can be described as being humble. She is selfless and doesn't like all the attention; she always loves to include her teammates into her accomplishments and states that she could of ever really be as great without her teammates.
Mo'Ne Davis has created many new records since participating in the Little League World Series; for one she is now the youngest athlete to be shown on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
My Opinion on Mo'Ne Davis:
Honestly, I love Mo'Ne Davis. How she is so humble and shows so much confidence even with critics out there; especially when she is only 13, where typically these are the years of insecurities for young females. In addition, I'm really amazed on all her accomplishments she has completed and all the things she just does in general, like baseball, throwing 70 mph...? What? Crazy, right? I think its outstanding and super amazing how such a young female can through 70 mph. Along with, I really support her; chiefly on her display of participating on a all boys team\boys sport, it shows how much really on how confident she is and how strong she must be.
