A veteran is anyone that has been in the armed forces or in the armed forces right now.
Veterans are also people who protect our freedom.

Armed forces are anybody that are in the army, Air Force, marines, coast guard, and navy.

THE HISTORY OF VETERANS DAY
World war 1 ended. The United States selebrated. Preseident Wilson made Arnistice Day a holiday on Nov 11. In 1954 Armistice Day became Veterans Day to celebrate all veterans from all wars.

THE POPPY
A Poppy is a bright red flower and a symbol for Veterans Day. Poppys began to grow in Flanders Field after a battle.
