Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born on Oct 2nd 1869
Also known as bapu was born in (Porbandar)present day Gujarat.
He completes high school in Rajkot.
He married to a 14y girl at age of 13y due to child marriage.
At the age of 19 he travels to London to be a barrister.

In 1893 he went to South Africa and fought against racial discrimination.
In1901 he returned to India and joined the national congress.
In 1908 Gandhi Ji was arrested in January and was put behind bars for 2 months
Than in october he was again arrested for 1month of jail
He went to England and returned after WWI

April 13 1919 a huge massacre occured the jallian wala bagh massacre
General Dyer open fired on people in that bagh without warning
In 1920 Gandhi calls for non-cooperation movement
In 1925 Gandhi becomes president of congress after going to jail
In 1928 he starts the bardoli stayagraha against high rents

In 1931 he did the Dandi march(salt satyagraha)
For violating that he was put in jail
Whole country came together to save him
In 1939 world war started and ended in 1945
