E is for embarrassment
When pony is talking to Cherry, he is very embarrassed about his clothing. Greasers don't have very good clothing or belongins. Especially compared to the Socs so I understand why Ponyboy might of felt this way in front of Cherry.

F is for Fountain
When Johnny and Ponyboy ran, they went to the park where the blue mustang showed up. Here the Socs tried to drown Ponyboy and beat up Johnny. So Johnny killed Bob, one of the lead Socs.

H IS FOR HOODS
There were two types of "groups" in the town. They were known as the Hoods, and the Socs. The hoods knew the Socs as the snooty rich kids, that had no troubles in life. But the hoods had a stereotype of their own, they were the bad kids, the criminals. If you were caught with them your reputation would be ruined. They had it rough in life, but the Socs didn't care they thought of them as white trash and jumped and beat them constantly.
