Through out his life he was an avid hunter; politician, author,historian, explorer, and conservationist as well as Vice President and president !!!

Roosevelt was well known for leading the rough riders in the Spanish-American war.

After serving for less than a year as Vice President he became the 26th president at the age of 42 making him the youngest president

One of Roosevelt's main focal points in being president was that he fought for progressive reforms and set aside millions of acres for our national parks we love and know today !

INTRESTING FACTS 1:

In 1906 , he visited panama, being the first president to travel out of the country while still in office .

INTERESTING FACTS 2:
his wife died just two days after giving birth their baby girl. His mother died the same day due to some kidney issues the same day and in the same house , he later ended up having 6 kids !

INTERESTING FACTS 3:
he was homeschooled , his father was a huge part in his life. One of his fathers sayings was " take care of your morals first, then your health , and finally your studies "
