THE CRUCIBLE

"INSPIRED BY" SONG LIST

Christina Perry- A Thousand Years

  • This song reminded me of Abigail's love for John Proctor.
  • Abigail will do anything for John Proctor's love and attention.
I thought this song best represents Abigail's love for John Proctor. In the play, Abigail does everything she can to get Proctors attention and love. I feel like this song shows the true love Abigail feels for John, even though he doesn't truly love her back.

JAWS THEME SONG

  • This song is suspenseful.
  • It reminded me the the suspense of the Salem witch trials.
This song is kind of scary and edgy, so I thought that it best represented the Salem witch trials and how everyone was kind of on the edge of their seat waiting for what would happen next.

Pachelbel- Canon

  • This song is very peaceful.
  • It reminded me of the end of the play when they let the prisoners go.
This song is very peaceful so even though it wasn't peaceful when the prisoners were let go it was more happy, rejoice kinda thing. But I thought that this song showed how much of a difference each of the characters made in the story.

All Time Low- Remembering Sunday

  • This song reminded me of when John Proctor was taken away to jail.
  • In the end of the song, the girl dies, in the end of the play, John dies.
This song is very, very sad. So I thought that this song represented when John Proctor was taken away in the "witch wagon" and Elizabeth was all alone. In the song, The girl dies and the man is all left alone. In the play, John Proctor dies, and Elizabeth is left all alone.

LION KING- HAKUNA MATATA

  • This song is very joyful.
  • It reminded me of when Abigail and her friends danced in the forest.
This song is happy, and fun. I thought that this song best represents the woods and how the girls dance in the woods and have fun and share secrets. Even though no words really relate to the situation, the music is happy and uplifting.
