Archipelago -
archipelago is a group of islands closely scattered in a body of water.

Atoll -

a coral reef or string of coral islands that surrounds a lagoon.

Bay -
a body of water partially surrounded by land, usually with a wide mouth to a larger body of water.

Canyon -

deep, narrow valley with steep sides

Cape --
point of land that extends into a body of water.

Continental divide -
point or area that separates which directions a continent's river system flow

Delta -the flat, low-lying plain that sometimes forms at the mouth of a river from deposits of sediments.

Estuary -

mouth of a river where the river's current meets the sea's tide.

Fjord -

mass of ice that moves slowly overland.

portion of an ocean or sea that penetrates land.

Isthmus -
narrow strip of land connecting two larger land masses.

Lagoon -
shallow body of water that may have an opening to a larger body of water, but is also protected from it by a sandbar or coral reef.

Mesa -

broad, flat-topped landform with steep sides.

Ocean Currents -

a study flow of a fluid. (usually from natural causes)

Peninsula -
piece of land jutting into a body of water.

Plateau -
large region that is higher than the surrounding area and relatively flat.

Reef -
a ridge of rocks, coral or sand rising from the oceans floor all the way or near the oceans surface.

Strait -

narrow passage of water that connects two larger bodies of water.

Reservoir -
natural or manmade lake where water is stored.
