Plot
Private Piete is a journalist for the Union Army. On his 2nd Battle he was one of the only guys left and charged bravely without ordered to do so. So he was promoted to Sergeant. His regiment and him then took a break for the winter. The next battle he got lost after trying to defend and had to hide from Confederate patrols because he was in Virginia, Rebel territory. Meanwhile, a girl saves him and he has to hide with her until a man arrived to take him back North.

Was when he escaped the southern patrols and rejoined his regiment.

The American civil war was one of the bloodiest wars in American history. Over Millions have died and many more have been badly wounded. Today and after 1910, battles were fought differently using Guerrilla warfare, machines and using 400 less troops per fight.
