• 1080 has a extremely low risk to harm humans.
• 1080 has never been found in drinking water.
• The Kea nesting success rate increased from 51% to 100% in 2011 since 1080 was used in the area.

Red Hat Thinking

• I think that 1080 is bad and shouldn't be used. It kills non-target animals and if it gets into human water source there is no antidote to cure the victim. It makes animals suffer for hours or days before dying. 1080 can cause secondary poisoning, therefore the amount of poisoning is doubled, killing unintended animals.
