ATHLETES FOOT

  • Athlete's foot is an infection of the feet caused by fungus
  • Athlete's foot may last for a short or long time
  • may come back after treatment

BOILS AND CARBUNCLES

  • A carbuncle is a red, swollen, and painful cluster of boils
  • that are connected to each other under the skin
  • Boil is an infection of a hair follicle
  • that has a small collection of pus under the skin

COLD SORES

  • are clusters of small blisters on the lip and outer edge of the mouth.
  • sometimes called fever blisters

DERMATITIS

  • general term that describes an inflammation of the skin
  • many causes and occurs in many forms, this disorder usually involves
  • An itchy rash on swollen, reddened skin

IMPETIGO

  • a contagious skin infection that usually produces blisters or sores on
  • the face, neck, hands, and diaper area

PSORIASIS

  • common skin condition that causes skin redness and irritation.
  • have thick, red skin with flaky, silver-white patches called scales.

1ST DEGREE BURNS

  • is a burn that affects the first layer of your skin

2ND DEGREE BURN

  • A BURN THAT HAS BLISTERS ,PAIN, REDNESS, AND SWELLING
  • Affect the outer layer and the underlying layer

3RD DEGREE BURN

  • : a severe burn characterized by destruction of the skin through its deeper layers
  • and possibly into underlying tissues, loss of fluid, and sometimes shock
