PRESENTATION OUTLINE

A lot of animals homes are being destroyed. Much of where the animals live, forests, wetlands, rivers, lakes, and costal environments have been destroyed due to development, pollution, and natural disasters. An example of their homes being destroyed is the tsunami. After the tsunami hit Japan most homes of humans and animals were destroyed. None of the animals had a place to live, and most animals were trapped under debris. Also, an example of what happened to the animals is that the birds got too wet and they couldn't dry their feathers so they couldn't fly. And hundreds of fish got washed up on the shore from the waves bringing them in. e

And hundreds of fish got washed up on the shore from the waves bringing them in.

The five most effected cities were/are Isinmoki, Kesenuma, Vokohama, and Narita. They were the most effected because they were hit worst by the tsunami (aka east coast). And because they were they were hit the worst by the tsunami then the wildlife is most in danger there because their homes aren't even there. Also, they're going to have the worst clean up and will be under debris most likely because nothing is standing.

The International Funder Animal Welfare are studying following the earthquake and tsunami to help wildlife. This would help wildlife because then if they monitor the earthquakes and tsunamis then they can make habitats for the animals that won't get destroyed. Also, people are cleaning up all the debris and helping the animals find temporary homes until they can find and/or build new homes for them.
