SAHARA

  • Def:the northern part of West Africa a desert region
  • Most of West Africa was a Sahara.
  • Sahara is a desert like region in West Africa it lies in the middle
  • of the country.

SAVANNAH

  • Def:a grassland region in West Africa
  • The savannah is where Africa gets it's millet crops.
  • Some West Africans raise cattle in the savannah.

VEGETATION ZONE

  • Def: "is a region that has certain types of plants"

  • The savannah has many vegetation zones that grow millet.
