Compare the major contributions:

In Gahanna they built a strong army so that trade was better and they had more power. While in mali the ruler sundiata introduced a new crop. Which was cotton so they had another upgrade in they're empire. In Songhai they were just like the other empires they were monarchy's, for a while mali conquered them .

How did geography effect the development of the african civilizations?

This effected because the heat was deadly so people died and it was hard to get water. There were mountains near but it was hard to travel.

How did trade impact the kingdoms?

Because they had gold and salt which were major natural resources, so they used that a lot during trade.

Why weren't the governments all together?

Because some had different ideas and opinions and they would fight and start arguments through the whole government
