NAVIGATING BEYOND THIS LAND

The Bible prepares us to live for what's beyond this land.

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" (Heb. 4:12).

God’s watchfulness will urge us to prepare for what's beyond this land.

"Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do" (Heb. 4:13).

Our High Priest has paved the way for us so that we can live beyond this land.

"Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin" (Heb. 4:14-15).

The power and privilege of prayer comforts us as we prepare for what's beyond this land.

"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" (Heb. 4:16).

Jesus protects me so that I can live for what's beyond this land.

"That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us" (Heb. 6:18).

Jesus provides hope and is the anchor for my soul, which motivates me to live for what's beyond this land.

"Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil" (Heb. 6:19).

Jesus has passed on before us so that we can know that we're going to heaven, which is beyond this land.

"Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec"
(Heb. 6:20).
