• Uses a knife by drawing designs to raise the skin.

Bigger Women

• A sign of wealth
• Sent to fattening farms at the age of 6 
• Young girls are forced to eat
• Given animal hormone pills

Maori Culture

• Uses Ta Moko ( using ink to scar the skin.)
• Different moko's on different places of the body means different things.
• People with facial ta Moko's are more likely to get a job.
