NEWTON'S THIRD LAW

WHAT IS THE LAW?

• For every force there is a reaction force
• that is equal in size but opposite in direction

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

• The more force applied to the object your pushing/pulling
• The higher or farther you'll get when the reaction force
• pushes or pulls back
• Forces will ALWAYS come in pairs, these are "action" and "reaction"

HOW DOES IT APPLY TO REAL LIFE?

• Newton's Third Law can improve performance in sports
• If an athlete pushes off a starting block with more force
• then they will go father on that first jump
• You can also jump higher on a trampoline, skateboard
• Etc.
