WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART

Mozart was born on January 27 1756 in Salzburg, Austria. His father was Leopold Mozart. Anna Mozart was his mother. Him and his sister, Maria Anna (Nannerl), were the only two children of the Mozart family that survived.

Young Mozart was great at music. At three he was picking cords on the harpsichord, at four playing short pieces. He was composing at the age of five! Just before he was six, his father took him and his sister, also talented, to Munich to play at the Bavarian court, and a few months later they went to Vienna and were heard at the imperial court and in noble houses.

August, 4 1782 Mozart got married to Constanze Weber. One of their children became a composer

Mozart wrote over 625 pieces of music in his life. He died, at the age of 35, of rheumatic fever in 1791
