  • Is hot in the day but freezing at night.

HISTORY OF METCURY

  • Mercury was deemed a planet by Copernicus.
  • It was named after Hermes because it moves the fastest around the Sun.
  • Copernicus knew it was a planet because it orbited the Sun, just like Earth.
