  • Monomer is Monosaccharides
  • Made of Carbon, Hydrogen, and Oxygen
  • The main source to gain energy, and make up cell walls in plants.
  • Examples are breads, pastas, and fruits.

  • Major structural molecule
  • Used for growth and repair
  • Monomer is  Amino Acids.
  • Examples are lobster meat, chicken, and steak.
  • Made up of Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Sulfur.

  • Monomer is triglyceride.
  • Made up of Carbon, Hydrogen, and Oxygen
  • They are waterproof, cushions organs, store energy and insulates body.
  • Examples are oils, butter, and margarine.
  • Lipids are fatty acids.

  • Building blocks of all living things.
  • Monomer is nucleotides.
  • Made up of Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Phosphurous.
  • Pass on and contain genetic information
  • Examples are RNA and DNA.
