TASKS & CONDITIONS

• Drive or ride in ambulances responding to calls for help
• Assist in transporting sick, injured, or elderly people
• Remove and replace soiled linens and equipment
• Place patients on stretchers and in ambulance

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Though a high school diploma with vocational training is the minimum formal education required for this occupation
• Some may require an associate degree or bachelor's degree
