  • Construction started in 1221 and was finished in 1567
  • It is a cathedral with gothic architecture
  • The cathedral was dedicated to the Virgin Mary
  • Declared World Heritage Site on October 31, 1984

GARAJONAY NATIONAL PARK

  • Located in Spain
  • Declared national park in 1981
  • The park is a humid subtropical forest
  • In 2012, a forest fire burned down 18% of the national park
  • The park contains plateaus, volcanoes, and rock formations

  • City located in Spain
  • First conquered by Carthagians in the 3rd Century B.C
  • The university is one of the oldest in Europe
  • Has a population of 228,881 people
  • Declared World Heritage Site in 1988

  • Located in Mexico
  • Built between the 1st and 7th century
  • It has two large pyramids, the pyramids of the sun and moon
  • It is said to be the place where the gods were created
  • Became a World Heritage Site in 1987
