PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Life Cycle of a Flowering Plant

Everything begins with seeds. To grow, seeds need warmth, oxygen, and water.

The seeds then germinate.

The germinating seeds become seedlings. Seedlings need water, light, and carbon dioxide for photosynthesis to develop and grow into adult plants.

The seedlings become adult plants.

The adult plants begin to grow flowers.

The plants become adult plants with flowers.

The flowers are then pollinated Pollination occurs when pollen is transferred from stamen to pistil, which results in fertilization.
