Oasis

Oasis are formed when there is an underground water source. Increasing with water, until finally gets so full that it rises.

Cliffs

Cliffs are formed by rocks, that resist to erosion and weathering.

Monoliths

Monoliths are formed when a large amount of molten rock is cooling.

The landforms that contain a plain/ desert landscape are:
- Trees - cliffs
- valleys - plateau
- monoliths - oasis

LAND SCAPE

The Navajo live in a plain/ desert landscape.

A plain/ desert landscape gets no more then 25 millimetres of rain, per year. A plain is an expanded area of mainly flat land. Also now a third of the Navajos land, is being buried with sand because of climate change.
