  • rises at a 55 degree angle then suddenly changes to a 43 degree angle
  • the only pyramid in Egypt with polished limestone still intact

  • two massive rock temples in southern Egypt
  • on the West bank of Lake Nasser
  • the twin temples were carved out of a mountain side

MOST MEMORABLE

I would consider the Great Pyramid of Giza one of the most memorable parts of Egypt. It was built around 2560B.C
still stands today.

Roman empire monuments

  • still stand almost intact in the centre of the city 
  • located in Rhone-Alpes, France

I consider the most memorable monument in Rome to be the Colosseum. Built 27 A.D.
completed in 80 A.D.
still stands today.
